Shuvu Congressional Luncheon 2010

We at the Friedlander Group decided to celebrate the organization’s twentieth anniversary by simultaneously honoring Shuvu and the US-Israel relationship.We utilized the opportunity to host an event on Capital Hill.The evening would pay tribute to the life and times of Senator Henry Scoop Jackson, an individual who was instrumental in the cause of liberating Soviet Jewry back in the 1970’s.

The event was a tremendous success.Senators from across the spectrum, including John McCain and Charles Schumer, paid tribute to the late Mr. Jackson as well as to Shuvu.The organization was given the recognition and the honor it so rightly deserved.
