Ezra Friedlander Participated in a Conference Call with Senator Rand Paul regarding his trip to Israel
"I spoke about the idea of Jerusalem being recognized as Israel's capital by the United states. Senator Paul says that he agrees that a country should have the right to decide where their own capital should be located. However, he also understands that the decision might create some unrest in the area. Overall, he is inclined to support Israel's right to claim Jerusalem as the capital. He also supports Iron Dome, and would support the creation of a missile defense program in the United States, but finds the exchange of money potentially problematic and is unsure how the funding should be implemented ie, purchasing or other. He came across as being sincere and a true friend of the US Israel relationship albeit a little unconventional which in it of itself is not a bad idea".
