Statement by the Press Secretary on H.R. 3001 and S. 2009

 

On Thursday, July 26, 2012, the President signed into law:

 

H.R. 3001, the "Raoul Wallenberg Centennial Celebration Act," which provides for the award of a Congressional Gold Medal to Raoul Wallenberg, in recognition of his achievements and heroic actions during the Holocaust.
